Strep Throat, Urinary Tract Infections and even Pneumonia can be some potential culprits. I know with strep throat my son never even complained until he got the high fever. I never even knew he had it. There could be an infection possibly taking place in your child.
There are a few stomach viruses going around and the symptoms could be vomiting only. With viruses you tend to see relief within 12-24 hours. How long has your 3 year old been vomiting? Is your child having trouble urinating?
