Transitioning to a Green Home PT 1 (Chemicals)

I'm so glad that you want to transition into a "green" home! Making your home safer and healthier is great for our families as well as our environment! I have found that I have more peace of mind with us living toxin free in our home. Too many children get poisoned in their own homes! I love that I don't even have locks on my cupboards!

I have found through the past year and a half that you have to be very careful on so called "GREEN" products. Many companies use what they Call "Greenwashing." The definition of "Greenwashing" As stated by Wikipedia: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greenwashing (a portmanteau of "green" and "whitewash") is a term describing the deceptive use of green PR or green marketing in order to promote a misleading perception that a company's policies or products (such as goods or services) are environmentally friendly. The term green sheen has similarly been used to describe organizations that attempt to show that they are adopting practices beneficial to the environment.

The first thing I would tell anyone to do is read ingredients. Make sure you are using products made from Naturally derived ingredients.
Stray away from products that use any type of formaldehyde (a carcinogen, hidden in some baby products & cleaning products), Phthalates (hidden on product labels with simple pseudonyms like “fragrance”)also beware of Trichloroethylene (TCE)which is a known carcinogen, it is a heavy-duty industrial solvent used to cut grease and wax.

So once again, Please Read the labels. The chemicals above are just a short list, there are many many more!! We will never completely get away from every single chemical, but with some research, you will be able to find the safest alternatives for your family!

Yes, I do make money from what I do. I don't sell anything though. I talk with people and help them have safer, healthier homes and lifestyles. I share information with people. I do represent an International Health And Wellness company that offers Safer for your Home Products; Cleaning & Home products; Amazing- Nutritionals, sports nutrition, weightloss management products; as well as a natural make up line made with minerals & botanicals; Bath and Body Line and a Pharmacy line including first aid, dental line, etc. Also I USE ALL the products that this company manufactures here in the USA and then it's shipped to my door! I LOVE IT!! Safe, Made from naturally derived ingredients, Affordable, more cost effective then grocery store brands & I make a nice Income!!

I make a residual income, meaning I know I will make the same base line amount of money every month, year after year. It is amazing for me being a stay at home mommy with two toddlers!! I don't sell anything, just share health & Wellness & of course HOPE with people. In the economy today, it's great to know that I have a stable income. I help people, especially mommies all the time!!

I have team members all over the United States & Canada. It's a wonderful team based business that ANYONE can build!! For More information on Working from home & On Chemicals & Toxins- Please See my Website: http://web.me.com/tinakeller/GO_GREEN_OHIO
